Boafo says if President Mahama had his own way, he would appoint some
NPP members into ministerial position because they are very competent
but his party will not allow him because of politics
According to him, “most Ghanaians including the President believe the NPP members are competent”.
He emphasised that Ghanaians voted them out of power because they wanted change, “we easily get fed up with people”.
Speaking
on Citi Breakfast show, he denied claims that ex-president Kufour
appointed friends and relatives including, Addo Kufour, J. H. Mensah,
Issac Osei, Alan Kyermetang to form his government.
He
argued that John Agyekum Kufour “packed his government with competent
people; he knew where to place you at the right time. As for politics we
have relationship with everybody, he only appointed competent people
otherwise he would have failed”.
