Gospel songstress, Gifty Osei has publicly declared her intentions to contest for the Awutu Senya West Constituency seat.
Gifty will give a fierce competition to Hanna Tetteh, current Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration and the sitting MP for Awutu Senya West Constituency.
The question on everyone's mind is, on which party's ticket is she contesting? as the New Patriotic Party(NPP) has already held its primaries.
The New Democratic congress (NDC) and the other political parties are yet to hold their primaries.
In her latest Instagram post, the award winning artiste wrote, "I'm now ready to pick up my form # MP Making # I have the people of Awutu Senya West Constituency at Heart. For God and Country", along with her photo looking very gorgeous in princess- inspired style.
Gifty Osei, recently made headlines when she revealed, "Fame has not gotten to me, I do things in a simple way, just like any other person, I cook for my family, I wash, I bath my kids, I do everything I have to do, I go to the market and I shop".
