Female suicide bombers kill 11 in Adamawa11 people have been killed in Adamawa state after 2 female suicide bombers attacked a group of residents fleeing from a Boko Haram attack.
According to the former head of the Madagali local government council, Maina Ularamu, the attack took place in the Dar village in the Northern part of the state.
The area is near the state’s border with Borno state and the infamous Sambisa forest, and has been repeatedly attacked by the insurgents.
Othman Abubakar, the state’s police spokesman, said that 11 people died in the incident, though Ularamu said 12 corpses were counted.
The group’s latest tactic seems to be the use of multiple suicide bombers, and according to AFP, 101 have now been killed by the terrorist group in just the month of October.
