Mahama’s meeting with Sports Federations postponed

The meeting between President John Mahama and the 18 national sports federations today at the Flagstaff House has been rescheduled to Sunday, October 25.

The Sports Ministry’s Chief Director Victor Senaya confirmed the change in plans to some federation heads via a phone call on Tuesday night.

The said meeting is expected to address a petition presented by the 18 federations to the presidency on October 6, concerning the challenges confronting their outfits.

The President will use the opportunity to settle the differences surrounding the football associations and the least financed sports.
