Veteran actress, Edinam Atatsi, has described ‘Things We Do for Love’ actor, Adjetey Anang as the most disciplined among his colleagues of young actors on the Ghanaian movie scene.
“I will choose Adjetey Anang any day because he is disciplined and willing to learn at all times.”
Atatsi, known for her charm and talent in the 90’s, was the special guest on the #ThrowbackThursday edition of the Starr Entertainment news segment of the Starr Drive with Bola Ray and Anita Erskine.
Speaking on the show as an experienced actress, Edinam expressed disappointment in the current movers of the industry, chiding them for allowing Nollywood to take over as the frontrunners of the arts and entertainment industry in Africa.
“Nigeria are now far better than us. Meanwhile, they came to learn from us oooo… and we allowed them to go with the good lessons and beat us to it.”
Atatsi said she finds it difficult to watch the works of the younger generation of entertainers because they have lowered the professional standards they worked by in the past.
The veteran has currently given up on screen acts and is solely concentrating her skills on the stages of the National Theater where she works full time.
