The Reds new manager has made the Swans star his top transfer target for January
Liverpool new manager Jurgen Klopp has made Swansea City midfielder Andre Ayew his top transfer target for January, according to ESPN FC.
The former Borussia Dortmund coach has been a great admirer of the 25-year-old Ghana international and was reported to have made two futile bids to the winger’s former club Olympique Marseille.

Klopp now wants to make another attempt to bring Ayew to Anfield to strengthen his side as they target a Champions League slot in the new campaign.
Ayew joined Swansea as a free agent from Marseille in July and has become an instant hit in the Premier League, scoring three goals, two against giants Chelsea and Manchester United, as well as providing one assist to help his new club finish the month unbeaten.
He was named Player of the Month of August.
Ayew is a big fan of Liverpool and he once revealed he would relish an opportunity to don the red jersey even without wages.
“I grew up watching English football and I support Liverpool,” Ayew told Sportsmail in April.
“Steven Gerrard is my favourite player. They have always had exciting teams and now they are a club that like to play with pace and give chances to young players.
“I have been fortunate to experience Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford in the Champions League but I want to play at Anfield and other grounds.”
Ayew has been capped 66 times for Ghana, scoring 11 goals in the process. He was excused from taking part in the Black Stars’ international friendly with Canada on October 13 in the United States.
