It's the question on every Game Of Thrones fan's lips.
But Maisie Williams - who plays Arya Stark in the HBO series - claims to know the real fate of Kit Harrington's lead character Jon Snow ahead of the highly-anticipated sixth series which will air in the spring.
The 18-year-old didn't beat around the bush when the subject cropped up during a radio interview on Friday, crushing viewers' hopes Kit will return as Snow despite the fact he was spotted on the set in full costume last month.
She added: 'I think you're in denial about it for a long time when you see the death of a big character but I can't help but think it makes for such a great storyline!
'It keeps you coming back for more. My favourite character was Ygritte. But then she died!'
Series five ended with a handful of cliffhangers but Snow's bloody demise was no doubt the most talked about.
He was shown apparently dead in blood-stained snow after being stabbed by fellow members of the Night’s Watch.
Maisie's revelation comes a week after the 28-year-old actor was pictured on the Belfast set, surrounded by crew-members.
The future of the much-loved character has been widely debated with Kit himself hinting he would be returning to the popular fantasy show in some capacity during an interview last month.
Speaking to Belgian magazine Humo, he said: 'Let's just say that Game Of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while. I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over.'
However, Maisie is adamant Snow has had his time as she told press at the Emmy Awards that Kit's interview was 'fabricated'.
She said: 'He's dead. Sorry. The interview that you've all read [and] think that Kit spoiled it is fabricated. It was totally false!'
