One person has been confirmed dead and 27 others injured in a fatal accident involving a Yutong bus at Obretema on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.
The deceased has been identified as Ama Nimoh, 55. The injured persons have been rushed to the Suhum Government Hospital.
It is unclear the circumstances that triggered the accident which occurred Wednesday morning in the Eastern regional town.
The Yotung bus with registration number GT-4639-12 was traveling from Kumasi to Accra, according to Starr News’ Eastern regional correspondent Kojo Ansah .
The Suhum Police Commander Yaaya Mushiriru and his men have reportedly visited the scene and are in control of affairs.
